I came to this cafe because I had an appointment with a friend to discuss the Long Pepper business. I left Tebing Tinggi at 9 a.m. The estimated trip to Medan would take two hours to reach the location. I had agreed to meet at 11:00 a.m., so, based on the time calculation, I arrived at the cafe exactly at 11:00 a.m. However, the journey turned out to be smooth, so I arrived at the cafe at 10:30 a.m. At that time, the cafe had just opened and there were still no customers.

I looked around; the cafe was quite nicely decorated. I was the only customer there at the time. I wandered around, intending to take photos. I found the layout both inside and outside the cafe very appealing. I went outside and sat there. It felt calming. It was much more peaceful outside than inside. Perhaps it was because it was still quiet and other customers hadn’t arrived yet. Or perhaps it was the arrangement of umbrellas outside that made the atmosphere feel more serene and peaceful. I took a photo of the outside atmosphere. Afterward, I decided to go inside, worried about the rain.

As I entered, I felt the calm I’d felt earlier fade a little. Not long after, the waiter came over to offer drinks and snacks. I ordered black coffee and fried sweet potatoes as a snack. I enjoyed my coffee while waiting for my friend to arrive.
At exactly 11:00 a.m., my friend arrived. Other visitors began to arrive. The previously quiet atmosphere became lively again. We discussed our Long Pepper business plan for about two hours. After lunch, we continued the discussion for about another hour, and we agreed to meet again next month to discuss the details. Afterward, I said goodbye and headed back to Tebing Tinggi.
