Pancer Puger Beach is located in West Puger Village, Puger District, Jember Regency, East Java. The black sand beach is famous for its large waves, especially at the estuary where thousands of fishing boats enter and exit. Almost every day, you can witness fishermen struggling against the huge waves, and on some days, you can even see surfers standing on the waves. Pancer Puger Beach, West Village, also offers culinary specialties such as grilled fish and young coconut.

Meanwhile, tourists can also visit the fish auction to hunt for fresh catches.

Every year on the 15th of Muharram, the biggest event is the traditional Sea Harvesting and Offerings Release (Larung Sesaji) ceremony. Leading up to the sea harvesting tradition, the people of West Puger Village hold various activities and competitions, including a Tahlil Akbar (Grand Tahlil), a Shadow Puppet Show, a Cultural Carnival, and an Exhibition.

The following day, the fishing community in West Puger Village holds a Cultural Parade, showcasing local and Indonesian cultures. In addition to showcasing their culture, the sea harvesting also showcases various agricultural and marine products, such as replicas of boats and offerings used for the sea harvesting. In the evening, a shadow puppet show lasts all night at the village hall.

At the culmination of the event, the morning after the shadow puppet show, fishermen parade the Julen (fish) and the replicas from the Puger Kulon Village Office to the Puger Fish Marketing Center. Afterward, the fish are transferred to boats and floated out to sea, accompanied by hundreds of boats decorated with beautiful ornaments and equipped with sound systems for playing music. People were already waiting on each boat to participate in the Offerings Release (Larung Sesaji. Meanwhile, thousands of locals and tourists crowded Pancer Puger Beach to witness the Offerings Release (Larung Sesaji) ceremony.
